Flat & Low Pitched Roofing & Membranes

Installation of waterproofing flat roof membranes

It is essential to have at least a 20mm fall to every meter in flat/low pitched roofs. Correct placement of water outlets is also extremely important to ensure the integrity of the roof.

In the following image you can see a raised ‘V’ behind the roof windows which helps dissipate the water quickly and ensures there is no unwanted pooling behind the window

Flat roofs using Resitrix membrane:

Flat roofs equipped with Resitrix membrane offer a superior roofing solution known for its durability and waterproof capabilities. Resitrix combines the flexibility of EPDM with the proven performance of high-quality synthetic rubber, ensuring a seamless and highly resistant barrier against weather and water. This membrane is ideal for flat roofs due to its ease of installation and minimal maintenance requirements, providing a long-lasting, reliable cover that effectively protects buildings from the elements. Its adaptability to various architectural styles makes it a preferred choice for both new constructions and renovations.

Flat roofs using PVC membrane:

Flat roofs using PVC membranes provide a highly effective and durable roofing solution, perfect for both commercial and residential buildings. PVC, or polyvinyl chloride, is a robust material that offers excellent resistance to chemical exposure, fire, and UV radiation, making it ideal for areas exposed to harsh environmental conditions. Its lightweight yet strong composition allows for quick installation and requires minimal maintenance.

The heat-welded seams create a watertight bond that significantly reduces the risk of leaks, enhancing the roof’s overall longevity and performance. Additionally, PVC roofs are energy efficient, reflecting sunlight to keep buildings cooler and reduce air conditioning costs.
